Laptop Recommendations and Reviews Under $1,000
Current Laptop Recommendations
Looking for a decent laptop under $1,000? There are some decent choices out there, but finding them among the hundreds of products can be a little daunting. I've assembled some decent sub $1,000 laptops right here.
For my research I concentrated on those with an Intel i7 processor, Windows 10, a minimum of 8GB RAM, and a 1080p display.
These laptops represent a solid, general use or business use laptop. They aren't suitable for gaming or graphics design. They are suitable for word processing, spreadsheets, browsing, and watching a movie.

The best deal could be the Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 (refurbished). This system offers some decent specifications and user reviews in a refurbished package. Yes, it is not brand new and was most likely a return for some reason, but it offers you significant savings, and I've had good experience with refurbished systems.
If you don't want to go the refurbished route, for a few dollars more you can get the Lenovo Ideapad 110 17.3" Laptop, Black (Intel Core i7-7500U, 8GB, 1TB HDD, Intel HD Graphics 620, Windows 10) 80VK000CUS.
The problem with the above two Lenovo products is that they don't actually have full 1080p display resolution. So technically they shouldn't be on this list, but I wanted to include them for those who are price conscious and are Ok with a good display, even if it isn't 1080p.
